Sandyport Beach Resort

Very relaxing place

Not so much shops around

The overall atmosphere of the hotel is nice with several different places to enjoy it. Clean.

The place is way too much expensive for the quality of the room, food and overall experience. The room was very small with a tiny window and a noisy fridge. The bathroom was very old with moisture. When I realise how much I paid for that “Resort experience” I am still in chock.

Sandyport Resort is a gem. I don't like the huge resorts, and Sandyport felt like a secret corner of the Bahamas while still having easy access to Nassau downtown and excursions. The lagoon beach and the private ocean beach were beautiful and my son really loved the pools. The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to make sure you are having a great time.

All of the staff we interacted with were fantastic at the resort - especially the front desk and activities desk staff. They went above and beyond helping us get a (not resort-related) issue sorted out, and rescheduling activities due to weather. Resort was clean and quiet, and the restaurants were good. It was nice having both the ocean and lagoon beaches, since it gave us options on windy days.

The only - minor - complaint was that the pressure in the shower wasn't good. The water was nice and hot, but the pressure sucked!

We had a great vacation at Sandy Point. Went as a couple, and really enjoyed the quiet location and amenities. The staff are amazing - especially the front desk and activities desk staff - who helped reschedule scuba dives, and retrieve a left-behind bag on an excursion tour bus (avoiding a huge headache, and a lot of stress!). Good ocean beach, unfortunately a bit rough while we were there, so having the lagoon beach was a great alternative. The pools were clean, quiet and always had beds available when we visited. The room was good, clean, quiet and having the kitchenette was useful. Would have appreciated more water pressure in the shower, but plenty of hot water. Lots of options for restaurants and cafes on the resort, or in the nearby Sandy Port Village, and a grocery store was located a quick 10 minute walk away. The resort has a free shuttle to the store weekly, but we didn't need to use it. Highly recommend the resort, great location and close to the airport (but quiet). Great place if you're looking

C'est une belle place, l'endroit est magnifique pour une balade et les restaurants sont supers.

Les chambres ont besoin d'amour, il manque de chaises à la plage.
