WorldMark Santa Fe

Did not stay at World Marc/Booking cancelled us. Very few rooms in Santa Fe We stayed at La Fonda which we found on our own and was Wonderful. I Rate it a 10. Did not book it through Booking.com. Will never again use Booking.com. NEVER.

Booking.com cancelled my reservation at 3:00 AM the morning of my arrival. I was unaware of cancellation until I stepped off of the plane and checked my phone. My flight was at 5:00 AM. It was a very busy time in Santa Fe with hotels booked months in advance. Customers who book rooms are penalized with paying for the full stay for cancelling at this late hour. How is it right for a business to cancel on a paid room without penalty? Lousy Corporation that doesn't care about customers. Sold my room at Work Marc for more money so that they could make more money due to busy time of year. Forget about using Booking.com

Nice room, kitchenette and gas fireplace. Pleasant sw furnishings and design. Good location to walk into downtown. Parking spots were minimal. Staff were friendly and polite.

They cancelled us at the last minute due to “unforeseen circumstances.” Tough to find a room close to the Plaza on such a busy weekend. Ended up at a hotel instead of a condo. Fooled me once…and that’s enough.

Buyer Beware My wife (fiancé at the time) and I planned to take our honeymoon in SantaFe and decided on WorldMark. We made reservations directly through the WorldMark website as we did not want to take a chance using an online travel website. We made our reservations in February (five months in advance) and paid in full for a suite with a kitchenette. We received a phone call a week before our wedding confirming our reservation. One would think that everything was set. Surprise, surprise, surprise!!! While on the flight from Philadelphia to Santa Fe we received a message stating: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to accommodate your upcoming reservation at the WorldMark Santa Fe. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and we appreciate your patience and understanding. You can reach us on 800-917-1591 so we can assist with an alternate option. Have a great day.” Again I emphasize this reservation was made through the WorldMark website. I am emphasizing this fact because they eventually lied and said we made our reservation through Expedia. WE DID NOT!!! When we had our layover in Dallas my wife called, but had to wait on hold for over 30 minutes and was put on hold again after finally reaching someone. She was then disconnected, called back, was on hold again, and eventually had to end the call when instructed by a flight attendant on our connecting flight. We were upset and frustrated. Imagine landing in an unfamiliar city without a place to sleep on your honeymoon during a tourist packed weekend. Fortunately, we did find other accommodations. We paid for our new room while waiting for a refund from WorldMark. It would have been nice if they had at least provided us with the interest we would have received by investing the money in a savings account for the aggravation, wasted time, inconvenience, and for nearly destroying the honeymoon we planned for months. I can say with certainty that I have never been treated this way. I will never again stay at any Wyndham property.

This property was well situated in a quiet neighborhood, with many restaurant choices within close walking distance. It was also very convenient to the Santa Fe plaza. Staff were pleasant and helpful with suggestions.

We had an amazing week stay at WorldMark Santa Fe. We were greeted by Joanna who shared a few local favorites. Our accommodations were perfect for 2. A studio with a well supply kitchen, large bathroom supplied with liquid soap, shampoo & conditioner. The bed was very comfortable & plenty of storage space. The accommodations were immaculate as the surrounding grounds. The adobe style condominiums each offered outside sitting & grills. There is parking but it was difficult parking our F150. The location is perfect walking distance from the plaza, historic sites, shopping & restaurants. We would definitely return.

We stayed at WorldMark Santa Fe on our first trip to the area and absolutely loved it. The architecture and design choices are beautiful. We were on a cross country roadtrip and were grateful for the fully stocked kitchen and free access to laundry facilities. The only drawback is WiFi is an additional charge per day. We will definitely stay here again when passing through Santa Fe!

We were charged an extra $90 for a 3 night stay, some form of city tax or other.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Worldmark Santa Fe. The staff was exceptionally helpful, including accommodating an unexpected remote business meeting. They also gave great recommendations for restaurants. The location near Santa Fe's plaza was so convenient with an easy walk to galleries, shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions. We will definitely stay there the next time we are in Santa Fe.
