Villa Montaña Beach Resort

Very clean, great location and very well maintained

El lugar es bonito, tranquilo y privado.

Parece como si estuviera en bancarota,todo muy desmejorado y desgastado.uno no se siente atendido para lo que cuesta.Se nota la baja moral.Los jardines y alrededores si están bien cuidados pero las instalaciones están desgastadas.

El lugar tranquilo.

El baño no era moderno y el piso feo y manchado.

I was assigned a “villa” located quite far from the main areas of the property. When I asked the employee about it, she explained that this was the type of room typically assigned when booking through Booking, and that reservations made directly with the hotel were different. I did not expect to receive the best room or the most central location, but I was disappointed that the experience and room assigned were so different from what I expected based on the reservation I made.

Not very clean room. The ceiling fan doesn't shut off. Floors are dirty.

la piscina sucia, hace falta mantenimiento en la habitacion, balcones. Para el precio que pague por noche, no creo que valga ni la mitad.

The Location

The room smelled musty and the flor wasn’t clean. The bed smelled bad. The restaurant hasn’t have vegetarian or vegan alternativas and you can’t change the plate.

The beauty of the property, right there in front of the ocean, the restaurant , Eclipse, and the attention to detail.

We’ve been here many times - it’s our getaway to be with each other (I travel for work and only come home to PR every few months). This stay was especially good. Check-in was a breeze: professional and helpful. The room (5143, book it if you can - garden view villa) was flawless as always, with two private balconies, and a full ready-to-use kitchen. And the food and service at Eclipse was flawless. Special shout out to María who was our dinner server. She is somewhat new but gave us the best service we’ve had there in years. We’d go back just to catch up with her. Same goes for the breakfast attendant, whom we’ve been lucky to be taken care of various times (the name escapes me). This is a wonderful place. The grounds are stunning, the rooms are beautiful, the pool is heated and gorgeous, sunset by the beach at Eclipse is breathtaking, the birds and horses roaming around the resort are a treat - this place is perfect. Stay here if you can, don’t go anywhere else. Thank you to the staff. We look forward to coming back. Daniel & Caroline
