Sapphire Beach Resort

DO NOT stay in Unit 203D with Tamuna (Host on Air Bnb), also is on expedia, Vrbo, etc. The place was okay, decent views, but the actual condo was pretty filthy. Looks like it hadn't been dusted in years, dirt and dust all over top of cabinets, stains on the toilet rim, loose cabinet pulls, missing trim. Overall needs some maintenance and updating. We rented through Air Bnb, but when I went to give a honest review of the place Tamuna disputed it and now Air Bnb is censoring it. Absolutely ridiculous, I was NOT asking for a refund or any money back at all, just giving my honest opinion of the place and because she didn't like my opinion she was able to have Air Bnb censor it. Avoid Air Bnb at all costs, they only care about the hosts and not the guests. Overall the place is sub par, way outdated, very small piece of beach with lots of seaweed. If you can just go to St. John and stay there, much nicer than St. Thomas, but if you can't get there I wish we would've stayed at the Margaritaville just down the road.

The office was hard to find. There should be a sign to let people know where the office is.

We really enjoyed staying at Sapphire Beach. We loved the beach and view. The rooms were clean and well kept. I was disappointed with the men running the bar. At times they were rude, and they over charged us for our drinks.

This resort should have its own generator for each building to deal with rolling and extended power outages. Other than that opener my family loved the five nights we spent here. Such a beautiful location and it's been better when there aren't any cruise ships in Port dropping off passengers for the day. Great food options just steps away or a short walk to Red Hook. I suggest Bldg C if you have the opportunity to stay here.

Our family had the best vacation ever at Sapphire Beach! We arrived on 5.25 and stayed through 6/4. The accommodation were very nice, clean and up to date. We stayed in a Beach front Villa (Bldg D) and our host Bianca, was fabulous . She promptly answered every question we had and had fantastic recommendations on where to rent a car, eat....etc. The view was amazing and we spent a lot of time gazing at St Johns and the other surrounding islands while hanging out on our 2 Lanai's. Exploring St Thomas and St Johns was a blast and we will be returning and hopefully, renting out the same unit! Thanks so much Bianca! You were awesome!!

Upon check-in we were given room in building A which was a huge disappointment. The room and the furniture looked as though it hadn't been updated for decades. I would describe it as musty, as though nobody had occupied that room for weeks, maybe months. Also, after many attempts to use the TV, it did not work. We asked management to move us to a different room. Finally at the end of the day (after about 2 or 3 visits to the office) we were moved to a room in building B, which was a huge improvement. The room was updated, and we particularly enjoyed being right on the beach. However, one complaint about this room is that the bed was absolutely awful! I don't think the mattress has been changed for years! The beach is very nice, but since it is also a public beach it gets very crowded when the cruise ships are in port. The pool is in a beautiful location but when we were there the bar/restaurant, (not sure what it was) was under construction, so that took away from the beauty of it. The upscale restaurant was very nice, but pricey. The bar served casual food and pizza which was pretty good. The area is not walkable, so we had to pay $24 roundtrip (for 2 people) for a taxi to the grocery store which was only about 1.5 miles away.

I DO NOT recomend staying here. We booked a room that states 1 King Bed and 2 Queen beds and when we arrived, the two "queen beds" were pull-out couches. We soon found bugs all over the kitchen area, no they aren't ants. We all woke up with bed bug bites all over our begs and back/stomach. We had no hot water and the toilet was leaking every day. On top of that, we lost power about 10 times to the point where our grochrey food went all bad and we had to waste it all. no refunds are allowed either.

Place was gross had bed bugs and ants coming out of the sink and power went out like 15 times and all of our food in the fridge went bad the beach was beautiful but the room was pretty gross had a good few but can’t get over all the bugs that were in there

I am appalled by Sapphire Beach Resort Condo. The pizza place's bathroom is unacceptable, exposing both children and adults to indecent and inappropriate situations at the urinal. Despite repeatedly addressing this issue with the bar manager, who agrees with me, he insists he cannot do anything about it because Virgin Island Restaurant This is disturbingly reminiscent of Jeffrey Epstein's actions in the Virgin Islands. Avoid this place at all costs. They refuse to close door because no air..REALLY..why do they keep these bathroom doors open
