Great property, 2 blocks from metro, 1/2 mile walk to shopping in Georgetown.

Our son just graduated from GU (not GW) - which is about a mile away. My wife searched hard for a hotel before we arrived for our first visit in August 2022. We had an excellent stay then and thus have stayed with them on every trip back (which averaged 2X per year. He graduated in May so we were there this time for his graduation. I have not met a staff member there that did not make me feel like I was their priority. Very early on they knew our names and preferences. In addition, the beds are awesome. We need to get the name of the mattress they use and replace ours at home. Others have mentioned Mr. B and then there is Saif - these gentlemen have been there for a really long time (I think Mr. B told me he started there in 1979). They do more than just respond to what is in front of them - they seem to know what you need next and are hugely attentive. For example, when they have seen me enter the hotel with my hands full, they very quickly and adroitly have the elevator primed without me having to fumble with my card. I constantly have a cup of coffee in my hand - there is a Starbucks in the lobby of the GW hospital which is right by the metro stop. I suspect others have already mentioned that there is a Whole Foods nearby for the nights (and mornings) you want to eat in. I saw the staff interact with young children and felt like they were treated as amazing as we were. I will say that I wish the hotel served coffee from like 6:00 - 8:00 AM. They do provide a Keurig in the room but it is a hotel rated machine and I was not happy the one time I tried it. There is a restaurant in the lobby that I think is run by a vendor. While coffee is available there, sometimes they are really busy and to me the cost for a to-go coffee seems unreasonable. The food at the restaurant is good, I personally don't think of it as a destination restaurant (but there are many of those within half a mile of the hotel) but other than my crankiness about the coffee it is reasonable.

Great location!

Great location and clean and pleasant facility. The desk staff were great and always made you feel welcome.

The location was wonderful with the subway stop and food options only a couple blocks away.

The kitchenette was so small with only one outlet so you had to unplug something in order to use the coffee maker or toaster. Also, the table in front of the couch was too small and wobbly.

Stayed at this property with my friends for a girls night. Mr. B and Mr. Shah was so kind as he parked our cars and took our luggage directly to our room. Room had a wonderful welcome card to our surprise which was a nice touch. Brandie, the hotel manager was pleasant and gave us recommendations for local places to visit for dinner. I will be returning, it was very clean and a nice hotel

De bedden en locatie.

Hotel vooral de kamers erg gedateerd zijn wel aan renovatie toe. En er hing in het hotel een doordringengende putlucht maar niet op de kamers.
