The Mansion at Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club

Howdy, people! Anthony here! The whole family was down to the Bayzo's the other night and it was an amazing experience. Right from the beginning we were treated great. Our waiter Dimi did great job during the whole night. Top-hand! He made sure the kids were happy, and that is no small feat. I ordered chicken pot pie and И washed it all down with Hog Island IPA - great local beer. It is a nice place for a family and the evening was very pleasant.

We went to Ocean Edge for a quick overnight stay from Boston. It was a fantastic get-away for the whole family. We stayed at the mansion in a beautifully appointed room with a view of the ocean in the distance. The room was spotless, and I am VERY fussy. It was a peaceful retreat. There were plenty of activities if you choose. We were there to simply rest, reconnect and recharge. The location, peaceful grounds and walk to the ocean let us do just that! The staff were friendly and helpful, even checking in with us once to make sure we were satisfied with everything in our room. When we were leaving the premises after a full day, a friendly staff member brought us waters for our drive home. We already cannot wait to return for our next get away. Ocean Edge is our favorite place to stay!!

Excellent customer service. Staff was welcoming and very accommodating. Facilities were wonderful. Old World Charm, we enjoyed the pub, had a cocktail and appetizers. Enjoyed a glass of wine by the fireplace in the library. Spent the morning wondering the private beach. Soft bed, nice bathroom and private balcony.

The pillows on the bed need to be replaced. They were hard as rocks and too big for comfort. Only thing I would change!

Ocean Edge is a wonderful place to stay. Not only because it's beautiful, but the staff is top notch. The restaurants offerings are delicious, the rooms are spacious, and the atmosphere is magical. I can't wait to go again.

Our experience in the Ross common room, which is where you would eat dinner and breakfast and lunch was over the top of excellence in an attentive, positive, and energetic attitude as seen in the wait staff individual – a young yet experienced Balinese gentlemen by the name of Ardie!! What a delight to have such a warm hearted and capable person in your midst!

A beautiful and cozy place for a quiet winter get-a-way. Rooms very clean. Food well prepared and served. Staff was amazing. We had a small issue with a window shade in our room and Shanav Mauritius, the afternoon manager, was quick to offer a new room rather than offering an excuse or asking us to wait for maintenance. In addition, he gave us a tour of the property and was a font of knowledge on the history of the property which dates back to the 1800s. Our stay at the Ocean Edge Resort was amazing!

I was stranded during the blizzard of 2026 without any power, I had many invitations to come and stay but I waited until it was too late. Large trees and electric poles and telephone lines were down everywhere across the roads. At first I was fine because I had prepared, shopping for delicious food and I had some safe candles and flashlights. On the third day I was freezing so I packed my overnight bag and I set out to find a place to stay so I could warm up and take a hot bath. I didn’t have to go too far when I came upon the mansion at Ocean Edge and I was greeted with a warm fireplace at the front desk with friendly faces. I have stayed at CBI and the Wequasett but they do not even compare to the staff, amazing delicious food and accommodations. I love historic buildings that have been renovated on the interior for the utmost comfort and conveniences and this is definitely the best place for me. I highly recommend staying here, I have already told all of my friends and relatives.

This place is “ all about the hotel”. You stay here for the full experience. We were here in the winter - between 2 massive snow storms. Loved the setting. The Mansion is stunning. We ate lobster rolls and had a bottle of Vouvray in a cosy booth in the Pub. It is a SLH hotel by Hilton. We had a wonderful King suite. They delivered cookies to our room and there was a box of chocolates waiting for us. We had a wonderful welcome, and an after dinner tour by Sanjav. He was very professional and so courteous. We drove down to the ocean and walked out on the pier to see the beautiful frozen bay before leaving. We hope to come back in the summer. Be aware though - this property is not easy to navigate. I would not advise you stay here if you have a disability or difficulty with steps.
