Had a wonderful time at Northwest Point Resort. The condo was roomy, very clean and the resort was exceptional. Will return!!

Located at the tip of the 13 mile crescent of sand that perennially makes "World's Best" lists, Northwest Point Resort really is a "blast from the past". This is what Grace Bay must have been like 25 years ago, before the arrival of branded, 10 story hotels. Even the highway gives way to a final 4 miles of unpaved road as you approach the Northwest Point enclave, further enhancing the feeling of environmental authenticity. Northwest Point is a stand alone, condo hotel property. My daughter and I stayed in a spacious ground floor, 2 bedroom unit. Not luxurious but clean, comfortable and quiet, with a private outdoor porch and nothing but wisps of waving grass between us and the gentle waves lapping at the shoreline. During our 4 night stay, we never saw more than a handful of other couples and families on the beach, for as far as they eye could see. And zero intrusive vendors anywhere. Secluded. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overly so. In fact, one maintenance worker who was pruning coconuts from the pathway palms, spontaneously sliced one open and offered it to my daughter to drink from. Charming gesture. The lodging units feature full kitchens, which is handy since the resort's quaint restaurant was serving lunch and dinner but not breakfast (while we were there). I recommend getting a rental car, as it's a 15 - 20 minute drive to downtown Providenciales and a little further to reach the golf course, casino, supermarket etc. But don't worry; the cost of renting a car is more than offset by the significant amount of money you save vs. staying at the bustling "skyscraper" resorts in the middle of Grace Bay. Know that Northwest Point is laid back to such a degree that there is neither a concierge or even a reception desk on site. You will, however, have 24 hr. phone access to Northwest's Owner / Operator as needed. Which we did not. But we do need to return to the property in future, to get another shot of reconnecting with the way it was in the Turks & Caicos.

Very nice, enjoyed our time staying

Property manager Lisa was terrific, answering all our questions in a timely manner. Condo was comfortable but the two chairs in living room could use attention. The sofa was comfortable but good use a good cleaning. The kitchen was well equipped but one frying pan definitely needs replacing. Overall my wife and I loved the property. The beach was private and kayaks, boards etc for use was great and swimming pool was very nice. We had several days not leaving and just enjoying relaxing by pool and beach.
