Old Rose and Crown Hotel Birmingham

The Old Rose and Crown is in a quiet location on the edge of the Lickey Hills surrounded by grass and trees. It is easy to reach from the M5. The room was well set out with comfortable bed, sofa and chairs, and en suite. The only downside was that no food is provided on site but there are a couple of pub / restaurants within 10 mins walk of the hotel. If you need to drive into the city centre from the hotel at peak times this will take about an hour. Thank you for a lovely couple of days....highly recommended. 👍

Comfortable nights sleep, very quiet and the golf course is great for a morning run.

Needs a lot of updating and too many communal items in the room such as throw cushions, blankets, thick pile rugs that made it feel less clean. The cafe recommended for breakfast next door opens too late for people traveling for work.

I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions due to my job in Birmingham. The staff are always welcoming and kind, the rooms are always amazing and comfortable and value for money. Parking is a bonus as I often finish work late and am glad to be able to park with ease and relax in my room. Would highly recommend ☺️

No dislikes, the WiFi in some rooms is better than others but that may be down to the location of some of the rooms but the views make up for that.

Free breakfast wasn’t offered but website said otherwise and I paid for a family room as was nothing left although there were only 2 of us.
