Rothschild-Pound House Inn

Our stay was just not good. The host seemed like a great person, but we were not given times for guest events by the host. There was an overgrowth of miss on the entry stairs. The cottage smelled dank. The hot water for the shower was inoperable. The stove was inoperable. The bed frame was broken, and there were bugs in the bed. I love the area, but this stay was jot IT!

It's a beautiful place don't get me wrong but it does need a deep cleaning I got bit by two brown recluse spiders I believe I had to go to the doctor when I walked into the room it was very hot and muggy and it smells very old there was four inch of dust everywhere the bed even felt moist the lady had no concern for me being downstairs he came downstairs and literally turned down off all day AC slam the door at 3:30 in the morning then walked upstairs to her room that was obviously right above mine and stomped and complained until 5:30 a.m. I wouldn't recommend staying here

Awesome place - We will be coming back!

Lovely place in a fine neighborhood. We had a nice room in a bungalow behind the main house. Lovely happy hour and full breakfast on the front porch, under shade trees and accompanied by the resident house cat. Owner was engaging and helpful. The house is lovely, very nicely maintained and furnished. Much attention to detail. Fully recommended. We also had a lovely dinner at Epic restaurant- also recommended.

The location was great and walkable to the nearby park.

The room was “ NOT” the cottage we had reserved, and paid for. Owner was not interested in making it right. We were in town for a family event and she notified us of the “Overbooking “ of cottage when we arrived. Too late to obtain other Lodging. Mosquitoes in room, low water pressure, no breakfast as advertised. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Being a Travelocity property owner myself I expected better service. Never recommend this place again to anyone

We graded our stay at the Rothschild-Pound House Inn a “B”. The property was fairly clean but there were areas in need of replacement/updating/repair such as the window air conditioning unit in our room. It did not adequately lower the humidity in the room and the fan speed control did not adjust downward so it blew directly onto the bed. The shower curtain was not waterproof, therefore water escaped and ran onto the 3 steps leading up to the shower-a hazardous situation! The furniture, window treatments and decor could stand to be refreshed. On the plus side, the owner was welcoming and fun to converse with! She made an excellent dining recommendation and made the reservation for us. This B and B is the only one I found in Columbus and would consider returning if more attention is given to the property.

No staff at all. No breakfast. No amenities. No working tv. No hot water in shower.

Wonderful charm and ambiance. Staff was delightful.

The property itself was beautiful and staff were extremely accommodating/helpful. However the room had no toilet paper or trash can, our doorknob fell off, and the bedroom door didn’t fully shut.
