Eliza Thompson House, Historic Inns of Savannah Collection

Breakfast was fresh and delicious. The kitchen staff were attentive and came by several times to check on me or to top of my coffee cup. The chef came by and introduced himself which I thought was a nice touch. Rooms were quiet even though the building structure is older. The beds were comfortable. The rest of the staff ensured my stay was a pleasant experience. Location is right in the heart of all the historical museums, houses/buidlings, and squares/parks.

That I had to leave. Time permitting, I would have stayed a couple more nights.

The location was excellent, in the heart of historic Savannah. Breakfast was very good, but is buffet style. Grounds and Inn were nice, but need some TLC. The daytime staff were excellent and helpful with tours etc. We would stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, both at check-in and check-out. Location was great, in a lovely part of historic Savannah.

We booked a "garden courtyard king room". The website pictures showed a lovely view of the courtyard looking out the main large window in the room. However, although access to our room was through the courtyard, our "window" was opaque colored glass, because the breakfast area coffee table was directly on the other side of it (see picture.) We had no view and no light coming into our room in the morning. The staff was accommodating when we spoke to them about it, and gave us some discount on the room which we appreciated. However, we feel that the room we had should not be advertised with a "garden courtyard view" and it should be offered at a discounted rate on the website.

Excellent location. The evening wine and cheese and "sweet treats" were very nice. Breakfast was excellent!

Parking was a challenge. A load/unload zone would be nice.

The Superior King room was excellent . Very spacious and comfortable. The hors d’oeuvres and desert hours were great opportunities to meet other guests and share experiences. Charles was a great Host and very knowledgeable about the local area.

A little disappointed with the buffet breakfast. Previous stay you could choose your breakfast item and it was prepared and served to you. Buffet style breakfast is Ok for hotel chain but not acceptable for high end INN or B&B

Very pretty inn! Central location to walk everywhere! Staff was very kind!
