Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Chester, VA

The property was nice and clean, including the pool and workout areas and the bed was comfortable. It’s close to a few food options and a grocery store, which is a plus. The breakfast was good and the staff was polite during all my interactions.

It was tucked away from the main road and you could only see the sign from the road. Depending on which direction you came from, a u-turn on a busy street was required. It did have a sketchy kind of vibe as its next to a run down motel that didn’t seem to have a name-possibly due to renovations?

Had a 2 inch roach in the room with my 2 year old twins and when I said something to the manager, I was asked to leave the hotel before I was supposed to check out due to being "rude".

1. I had to wait for a clerk...none at desk when I came in. 2. I booked twice, one for 4/10-11, then I decided for another night 4/11-12. When I checked in on the 10th I told clerk, he said no problem, he wld keep me in same room & keyed cards for two days. I came back on the 11th, card didn't work. Had to wait again for a clerk....

The Location

Pillows too small, weed smell, kids running up and down hallway and slamming doors. Water on floors and in elevator, slip hazard.

Breakfast was good could use some better bacon and colder milk but the options were pretty good

Location, good breakfast, friendly staff.
