Hampton Inn Baton Rouge - Denham Springs

Very good

This was a decent stay….. albeit a few things to note. Carlos at front desk is in the wrong line of work. There was no warm greeting at check in or any morning. Breakfast was a bright spot. Typical for a Hampton, but was very clean. Room was clean and large. Sofa was very worn.

Not from from 20, but far enough to not hear road noise. Easy access to good seafood restaurant.dog walking was convenient.

Bright parking lot light shows in our window even with shades down.

Checking in trouble but was fixed

Great place to stay! Excellent breakfast options and comfy beds! I wish there were more sidewalks to walk around the area in Denham Springs.

Preteen’s running up and down the floors, they were left unattended in the gym, and pool. Encountered one of them after 10 pm, and let him know that guests were trying to sleep, not more 5 seconds returning to my room, the fire alarm goes off, I encountered the same pre-teen in the cubicle going to the gym and pool with his hands on his head, I asked what he did, he said was looking for his friends. That said, the hotel has cameras, and they can control unsupervised youngsters.

Check in took a long time. Facility was recently updated, very nice.

Breakfast was good. Location was great.

In a room with four people, only one chair in there so everybody else had to sit on the beds. Five family members came by to visit. They had to stand or find room to sit on the beds. We did not wanna go down to the lobby. Secondly, we had a disabled room, but nobody was disabled. The tub was smaller than the regular tub. One literally had to be careful getting in the tub to shower. It had a big curved on the inside of the tub and on the side you stepped in on. I would be concerned about a disabled person using that tub. Thirdly, the front desk guy more than likely lied saying the luggage carts were being used by other people. Never saw a luggage cart anywhere while we were there. Why not just tell the truth and say we don’t have luggage carts. 🤔
