Family holiday lovey stay friendly staff couldn’t do enough for us

Nice hotel, enjoyed our stay but the spacious room was lacking little things. There was not one hook to hang anything on eg wet towels. The free toiletries were a shampoo and a body wash, the body wash had been watered down to water consistently, probably by a previous occupant. The Shower was lovely but then it dropped afterwards like a Japanese torture, coupled with a noise from a machine of some kind humming into the night, was hard to sleep. Eventually sorted the shower and the humming stopped In the night. Only one bedside table and a heater that wouldn’t turn down, so we had to switch it off at the wall. However, these were all small things which we never complained about directly to the hotel. We had a lovely comfy bed, the dinner was excellent as was the breakfast on offer. The pool looked amazing, we just didn’t go in it. The location was a bit further from Chester than we thought and for that reason we wouldn’t stay again.

It has a swimming pool and sauna. Offers spa treatments. Breakfast is excellent
