Eagle Aruba Resort

The overall experience was awesome. Everyone hard working and very friendly. Bellman manager Pablo Hoyas was wonderful and very accommodating.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eagle Aruba Resort in Aruba in February. Carlos greeted us upon arrival, took care of our bags, and got us settled in our room. He greeted us ach and every time we passed him throughout our 4 week stay. He even asked if we would like a ride to the beach in the golf cart. His smile is genuine. See you next year Carlos.

Pablo was the best! Always there whenever we need anything and is so friendly and courteous.

Rooms are very good size,very spacious,clean. 3 pools are very good. Sunbeds are booked from very early so you are limited in choice by people putting towel out. Located not too far from beach 5min walk and also close to very good Supermarket. We had an evening flight, the hotel allowed use of the facilities after the 11am checkout time and a courtesy room for 30 mins to shower prior to leaving the hotel. They also had a room to store your luggage.

Staff were not very helpful, attitude is poor. Don't try do anything in a speedy manner as this does not go down well with them. We had B&B option but you are asked to pay extra for certain options on the breakfast menu, not nice. There should be only one menu if you have paid in advance for breakfast. Service is extremely slow, we witnessed at least 4 customers per morning leaving or complaining about service. Taxi service at the Hotel is very hit and miss, the bell boys are not always available to assist, if you have dinner reservations allow at least 30mins to get there even if the trip is 5mins. You can be waiting for long periods on taxi. The cost of taxis is expensive, no meters and the driver makes the price, eventhough the government supposedly has fixed journey prices. The bus is good value but the timetable is unreliable. The island is very Americanised, the bulk of their visitors come from USA. Tipping is expected everywhere but the service is really poor & many times doesn't deserve it but as previously mentioned the attitude is that of entitlement.

Wonderful resort. Clean facilities. Friendly staff. Kid friendly. 2 mins from the beach. Plablo and all of the front desk staff was so helpful and kind. Made our first time AMAZING.

The experience was excellent from start to finish. The staff was attentive and welcoming, the environment was comfortable, and it never felt overcrowded. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and relaxing experience.

Eagle Aruba Resort is an absolutely wonderful place to stay for your beautiful Aruba trip! Can’t speak highly enough about every member of their staff from check-in, housekeeping/maintenance, pool services & entertainment. A special shout out for P. Pablo Hoyos who is the bellcaptain and such a joyful, helpful person! Can’t wait to return!
