"Absolutely gross "

The hotel looked nice upon arrival but once inside the staff were not friendly or pleasant. The parking is not free, and had people loitering all around. The room was gross. The bathroom had a used washcloth hanging from the rod. The bathtub floor was sticky, the carpet was stained (I was wearing white socks & the socks were dirty), & the bed was so uncomfortable. The room was for a handicapped person & the shower head would not stay up on the rod.

Check in was quick and easy but the room only had 3 beds and I booked 4. There was piles of smelly trash bags inside the hotel doorway. There was no soap and the room was hot regardless of the thermostat being turned down. The stairwell had huge holes in the walls

It was very accommodating for a family.

The only issue I had was, our room was covered in dog hair. Even the insides of the curtains were covered.

"NOT RECOMMENDED - Hidden Parking fee of $15.95 "

Upon check-in, I was informed that there is an overnight parking fee of $15.95. Why? This is not a typical downtown location, but it has plenty of parking available. Who decided that Marriott found screw us with a parking fee. Go figure. NOT RECOMMENDED unless you're good with paying for parking during your stay. NOT RECOMMENDED!

We were blind sighted when asked to pay $15 for parking. This was NOT part of our budget and we would have made a different decision had we known. Upon arrival -we have stayed there before- we were informed that it was a *new* thing and we’d have to pay. My husband went down to get bedding for our sofa bed so our kids could sleep and they didn’t give him any bedsheets, just two pillow with cases and two blankets.

"We've stayed at Residence Inns since the '80s, but never again in this one."

Location. The lobby decor was impressive.

Bathroom fan broken, sink clogged, ice maker broken, light bulbs burnt out, shower couldn't hold a consistent temperature, pillows were purely decorative (horrible for sleeping), breakfast buffet was disappointing, paid for four guests but received only three towels, promised a crib for the room but never received, staff was despondent and... The $15 surprise paid parking scam was the dealbreaker (parking lot was 95% empty). Both Jack DeBoer and Bill Marriott are spinning in their graves.
