Excellent weekend at Lamon hotel for valentines dinner and Sunday carvery. Enjoyed everything and all the staff were fantastic. Will be back soon.

Loved our stay at La Mon amazing location with great facilities and the event we attended was perfectly organised.

Stayed Friday 13th feb for the valentines night. Warm welcome. Got to the room the lamps didn’t work at bed went to plug phone charger in instantly got shocks from socket. Went for the 4 course dinner waitief over an hour for a Guinness ( was only 6table including us). Before the dessert came we asked for the coffee to come at the same time as we’d been there so long we just wanted out. The entertainment was awful. The only thing I liked was the bar the girls serving was lovely. Next morning after breakfast went to go for a coffee which they don’t serve until 12. We left before check out. Overall I wouldn’t recommend after pay £250 was t worth it.

We spent last night at La Mon Hotel and, even though our initial welcome was great, our experience was disappointing as a whole. The ladies we met at reception were amazing! So friendly and helpful, and made us feel like nothing would be too much to ask. Our room was 'fine', with a large, comfortable bed, tea and a coffee station (room 14). It was a standard hotel room, with the basics and we would have been happy with that. However, we were put into a room with an adjoining door to the room next door, and we could literally hear every movement and word that was said by our 'neighbours'. They kept us awake until well gone 2am, arguing and swearing at each other. Not pleasant. I totally understand that an hotel cannot control their guest's behaviour, but the rooms badly lack sound proofing. And hotels surely should be a place to go and have peace and a good night's rest. Breakfast was good, with plenty of options and choices in a help yourself buffet style. Personally, we were not blown away and would probably rather try somewhere else for future visits. My suggestion if you do book, is to ensure that you aren't put into a room that joins onto another. The doors are shockingly useless at blocking noise. Even our own door was useless at blocking the sound of people walking past and talking. We did not use the pool or other facilities, as our main intention was just a quiet night, in a little bit of luxury. Our expectations were sadly not met on this occasion. We did mention it when we checked out this morning, and were asked if we had called the night porter as we could have been moved. Perhaps that would have been an option, but it didn't cross my mind at 2am.

Large well heated room, no noise, very comfortable bed and pillow, slept whole night through. Buffet breakfast is good especialy if you need an Ulster fry.

Have stayed in La mon many times And as i have written in a previous revue , we always enjoy our stays here.

Just home from a fantastic night at the hotel. Our room was spotless and so comfortable and quiet. We were at a function and everyone was saying how good the service was and the food was excellent and on piping hot plates which we all commented on. The hotel is also getting new carpets through out and it looks so fresh. Would highly recommend a night away at this hotel great facilities on site as well and a new playroom for young children which I heard families saying how good it was and what a good idea it was.
