The room and the view were amazing.

Did find some of the senior members of the staff to be a bit on the rude side

Het avondeten was echt heel lekker! Gebruik van verse producten, de oesters en mosselen waren perfect. We lazen negatieve commentaar over het ontbijt, maar ook dit vonden we lekker. Het broodassortiment was beperkt, enkel toast, maar wel lekker en warm. Het assortiment warm ontbijt was uitgebreid, en allemaal goede kwaliteit.

Location

La localisation est superbe, au bord du lac. Le petit déjeuner est correct, le restaurant a été une excellente surprise.

Dans les chambres du 1er étage on entend beaucoup le sol du 2eme étage grincer. L’hôtel est vieillot mais il y a un effort de rénovation progressive.

The the location is totally amazing, make sure you get a room with a water view and pray for a clear afternoon. The views are stunning and you can open the door to hear soft ocean noises. If you are going big, the cabins with private hot tub looked really nice. There’s a paved walking path all the way into town and it’s a very long walk, but be aware town isn’t really much, it’s a very tiny rural community. There are also hiking trails directly behind the property up the hillside. There isn’t really much else around without driving so you’ll need a car or get very familiar with the bus schedule. However, the restaurant on the property is wonderful and I would very much recommend. Based on beautiful location and not wanting to drive more, we ended up doing dinner there both nights. Some of the best muscles I’ve had, so fresh, perfectly cooked and very mild creamy sauce. We also had this steak and the seafood platter and both were excellent, even the side salad was way above average. The pool area and hot tub is nice and would be great if you have kids. The hot tub wasn’t quite hot enough for me, but I assume that’s to make it family friendly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend you come for a visit. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
