This hotel was exactly as I expected, clean comfortable and affordable. affordability anywhere is becoming very hard to come by. I appreciate a place like Franconia notch motel, the hidden gem is behind the motel. I wanted peace, quiet, easy excess to trails and that's what I got. The staff was polite and my room was clean. I would absolutely stay again. I stayed for 4 nights in room 4. no it was not the Hilton but I would not have been able to spend four nights in the mountains at an affordable rate, as you see Lincoln is fast becoming an unaffordable place for the average person, but yet over here on route 3 you can still find clean comfortable rooms at an affordable price.

I did not mind, but some may mind the fact that it is right on route 3, not set back. just right on it, but as I said the hidden gem is behind it. And accessibility to everything and of course the price.

Nice clean comfortable room, a good value ! I felt very safe there !

Hade a little trouble getting TV & cable to work ! Also, bathroom shower / tub floor needs a good scrubbing in room #2 ! Other than that EVERYTHING WAS VIBE ! Thx, John M

The river being so close was a bonus. my kids had a blast playing on the edge. Good location to the downtown area and attractions.

the shower!!! it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. I don't mind an older motel but you gotta keep it clean and when you can't you gotta upgrade your shower. it was unacceptable for $350 a night.

The room wasn't very clean. There was a spiderweb in the corner, and the room was overall very dusty. Some hair in the tub, and the sink took forever to drain. The water pressure was great, and the beds were fine. Thin comforters that looks like they haven't been washed in a while.
