Franconia Notch Motel

It was a good stopping point on our way to the white mountains

A perfectly fine if old and a bit dingy. Fine for a place to crash between hikes. Can walk to a decent restaurant, just 5 minutes down the road. On a branch of the Pemi River, kids could play in it. Water low so would be very safe. I spent a half hour fly fishing, caught several small native brook trout. Shower could have been cleaner, bed was clean and comfortable.

Friendly manager, quiet and comfortable room with tv microwave and refrigerator. I would stay again! Slept well!

Not clean, old inside, holes in blanket, bed uncomfortable.

Good place to rest head for a couple nights, not much to do there but plenty surrounding the property. Nice owners and clean enough

Dated but homey

I liked the separate bedroom and sitting area. I liked the screen porch and the bed was comforable.

The huge step getting onto the porch. The shower controls were difficult to know hot from cold and the shower curtain didn't stay inside the shower well. It was cold in the night and we had no access to heat. The manager didn't speak or understand English well.

The river was unique

We love having room 7 with the river outside our window
