Blue Lagoon Resort

We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Lagoon Resort. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a two bedroom apartment (even though we didn't touch the 2nd room). It kicked off our stay with a positive feel. Our room looked out onto the Lagoon which was nice. The pool was lovely. Its temperature was spot- on for a pleasant afternoon dip and its cleanliness (as were all the outdoor areas) were great. The location was also very handy. A short stroll to the beach or to the local bars and restaurants meant we didn't need to use our car unless we travelled out of Trinity Beach. We'd definitely try and stay there again if we return to the Cairns area.

The WiFi needs to be improved.

Didn’t like having to pay for a pool towel and extra amenities, eg toilet paper. Cleaners started cleaning the room next to us at 7am, not good when you’re on holiday

Fantastic facilities, great location, such a comfortable stay.

As a solo female traveller, this accommodation is clean and tastefully furnished with a nice outlook over the pool and lagoon. Therr is also a well equipped gym to use. Checking in was easy and much earlier than expected. I was able to have access to my room at 12.00pm on my arrival. Beach is only a couple of minutes walk with plenty of places to ea, including several on the perimeter of the hotel grounds. I would stay again.
