GOCCE DI CAPRI RESORT

I would highly recommend this hotel, the staff were excellent , very friendly and helpful . The view from all the rooms are amazing and the pool was refreshing and relaxing with an amazing view of Capri ....I will be defiantly be going back. Thank you Christen and management for a lovely stay.

After a somewhat hair-raising drive from Naples, we were warmly welcomed by Claudia. Claudia and her colleagues were wonderful throughout our stay. Always welcoming, happy to advise on activities, would remember and check the following day how we'd got on, booking tours and fixing any problems - witnessed them going above and beyond to resolve a problem for another guest with a lost item in a previous hotel. Everyone we met there had good English. The rooms are clean and comfortable - some of the kitchen items were brand new and unused. It was perfect for a good value three-star but may seem a little basic for people expecting more. The views were amazing - you can sit on your balcony, at the restaurant or by the pool with views of Capri and the Bay of Naples - watching the boats or the sunset. I believe all the rooms have the same view; the angle for the view of Capri is better closer to reception, bar and swimming pool. It was a good location for us to drive to visit Pompeii, Herculaneum, Sorrento and Capri - I think would be difficult to do with children without a car. Wifi was 3 euros/day or 15 euros/week for unlimited devices and it worked really well in all areas - at times better than home! The pool is unheated and so was cold in early April but that didn't stop our children! It could be cleaner but they were cleaning each day and we believe it only opened for the season the day we arrived. A really enjoyable holiday and would recommend.

Had a wonderful stay at gocce do Capri ! Wish we had more time to spend there. Quiet and friendly place. The staffing was amazing, and really helpful. The view was absolutely amazing from your private patio area.

We arrived way before our official check in time but it was not a problem for Marco the owner. He had us in our room within minutes, which was clean and tidy but not what we ordered. Still not a problem we were upgraded to a two roomed apartment with balcony with a stunning view of Capri. All the staff are very friendly, helpful and spoke amazing English compared with my Italian highly recommended.

This hotel offers phenomenal views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Island of Capri. The staff is so pleasant and friendly. Our room was beautiful, spacious, clean and had views of the water. We loved our stay here and wanted to stay even longer.

The view of the ocean and the Island of Capri were gorgeous. This was a really nice hotel with a very nice pool, which the kids loved. Great hotel for kids/families. The restaurant was great - we ate outside overlooking the view and the sunsets. The Pizze de Gocce was delicious - cheese, sweet onions and bacon. Reasonably priced compared to other spots in Sorrento. They had these awesome gelato truffles for dessert - highly recommended, I wish I had tried more of them. The room was great in terms of space, and we really enjoyed the patio. It had pretty basic furnishings, but was comfortable enough. The staff was great - very helpful and friendly. I didn't realize when I booked it how far it was to Sorrento proper, and it cost $50 euro for the car transfer. If you are looking to explore Sorrento itself, this may not be for you. But it was a great and beautiful place to relax, enjoy pool, and look out at the view.There was also a little town a 10 minute walk away with a nice view, bar/gelateria, and restaurant.which we enjoyed walking too. You could also take lots of hikes and there was a beach a bus ride away.

the unit was very clean and the owners and staff couldn't have been any nicer.the location is at the end of the amalfi Peninsula which made for a little longer drive to get to, but the view was worth it,1 hour to Pompeii, 25 min to sorrento,1 hour to the town of Amalfi(it took us 2.5 hours, lot of pics),but best of all,was to come back and sit on the deck with a bottle of vino and look out at the isle of capri,PRICELESS!!

Residence Gocce Di Capri has to be experienced to believe! My mother, sister and I stayed for 5 days in September 2014. The apartments are spacious, clean and comfortable with modern romanesque decor. The Hotel appartments sit high in the hills of Massa Lubrense which overlook the Gulf of Napoli and the Island of Capri. The grounds are beautifully kept with archways of vines and a variety of flora that cover the walkway from the apartments to the restaurant, open bar and swimming pool. Our experience was incredible - we were lavishly attended on by the most generous, helpful and friendly staff. They really went all out to make certain our experience is unfogettable. We came by bus so they picked us up from the stop to bring us (with our luggage) to the hotel. The nearest townsquare is 500m away and the walk there also delivers breathtaking views of the Gulf. The town square is very quaint - equipped with a lookout, lively locals and a limonchello tasting gallery. We absolutely loved this place and would recommend it for both families and couples. The sunsets are heavenly and the apartments are private so the your view of the Gulf is uniquely your own!

A lovely stay at a nice hotel. A bit dated but lovely staff and stunning views of Capri. Great hotel for the price I would recommend this place!
