Cormorant Boutique Hotel

Excellent Hotel. In the heart of La Jolla. I would not recommend for kids and if you are a night owl there is loud traffic noise in the morning. But the staff, accommodations, and restaurant are incredible. A perfect lovers getaway next to the beach, park, and five star restaurants. We had a wonderful stay with our dogs.

Was looking for a super last minute staycation night near the water and as a former La Jolla local pleasantly stumbled upon this gem of a hotel. Situated perfectly smack in the center of prospect st near Girard with ample dining options and the beach a half block across the way, this was the perfect choice. Prospect Market is connected to the hotel and has more hotel market options than a convenience store or corner gas station when it comes to wine, kombucha, water, snack and toiletry options. Did not visit, but has a rooftop brunch & dinner bar above for added convenience. Had a nice view of the ocean while sitting at the high top table enjoying a cocktail on the spacious balcony and thoroughly appreciated the in room espresso machine and robes this morning. Definitely intend to repeat a stay in the future.

Every staff member encountered was warm, welcoming and accommodating. Room had a spacious balcony with table with ocean view overlooking Girard & prospect street. Super conveniently located to dining options and beach is literally across the street. Nothing but great things to say about this property. Will definitely repeat a stay!

Perfect for a weekend getaway

Great location!

Terrific location to walk everywhere in La Jolla. The rooftop bar had amazing cocktails and food, but was a little loud when we were trying to sleep at night (they closed at 11 pm) The front desk clerk who helped us with check in and parking was very helpful and thoughtful. The view was great and the room was clean and comfortable.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! With its incredible view, the roof top bar was a great way to begin and end each day. The boutique hotel is located superbly for those who enjoy walking, noshing, and people watching!

The location and view from the balcony were excellent.

The location of this hotel is phenomenal, a short walk to Scripps park and the sea lions! The hotel has a nice market to buy snacks as well offers tea and voffee in their lobby. Also, the room was very clean and hoisekeeping foes a great job. The bed was very comfy too. If, driving you almost have to valet ($35 p/d) to guarantee parking. We would stay here again for the convenience of location.
