AA Central Hotel

OK, its Blackpool and fairly priced so you don't expect much for your money. It is very basic, but the owner is helpful and if its only for a night to lay your head after a day out in Blackpool then adequate. Bar doesn't shut so that's a bonus or not - depending on your point of view. Popular with hens/stags but we didn't hear any of the noise that everyone else appears to have heard. Very good location though, 10 mins at most to Coral Island. There is parking in front of the hotel but only 4 spaces so first come first served. There is secure parking across the road at £6.50 per 24 hours so not bad.

Had a nice stay here cooked breakfast everyday with cereal coffee toast. Great staff very freindley an no probs

Cheap and cheerful with friendly staff but not too much else going for it. It seemed like the owner was looking to sell up soon (which may not be true) and one of his better staff members seem to be about to buy elsewhere. For various good reasons, I don't think the people there had their mind on the job but they were nice enough. One towel was provided for two of us initially but more were provided upon request. However, toilet roll and a hairdryer were not provided on request and none of the rooms seemed to have TVs. There wasn't any room cleaning and, when people left, their sheets were just left in the corridors. Breakfast was not great eg one glass for juice to share between two of us. But you get what you pay for and it was cheap and booked at quite short notice. If you're only fussed about having a comfy bed, don't mind corridor noise and can't be bothered to keep asking for stuff that the staff promise you, then it is in a good location and inexpensive.

This was without a doubt one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. The room wasn't cleaned, there were hairs in the bed, dirty toilet, no toilet roll, screwed up used towels in the bottom drawer in the wardrobe. Hangers were provided yet no bar across the top of the wardrobe to hang anything up... There was no kettle, the plug sockets were so awkwardly located. My phone had to hang from the socket to charge (pic inserted) no free wifi as stated. Was kept up near enough all night due to loud, disruptive, drunk guests of which the staff did absolutely nothing about. The reception was piled up with clutter, appeared very disorganised and messy. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, the location is good that's it. All descriptions and photos on here are misleading and do not match up with the reality of the experience whatsoever.

Good hotel managment good food nice will devo go back to that hotel is central for tower etc

Hotel manager could'nt do enough for us,breakfast was excellent,not much of a view but family room was good value would defintley go there again

Booked this last minute on bank holiday weekend and it was a great find.. This hotel has new owners who are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. At the moment it's not top notch in style etc but I think give it a year this hotel will be fab ..The breakfast was good and hearty .I would recommend this place to anyone it's a great location to the shops and there is secure parking very close by 24 hour reception but what makes this hotel great is the effort the owners are putting in to make sure you have everything you need and your stay is a good one... We go a lot to Blackpool this is only hotel I will go back to now ....
