"CONSUMERS BEWARE"

Stayed on May 13 and May14, 2026 While a good location next to Lake Sumter Square, rooms and hotel could use some refreshing. I brought to the attention of The Manager that my booking from their website went thru a 3rd party without my knowledge thus paying $100+ more for my stay than if I called them directly, (MANAGER STATED THAT THIS HAPPENS ALOT). I also brought to the attention of the Manager that I injured my leg as I bumped into the bed platform causing a cut, (still healing as of 6-3). I also showed the manager a picture of the dirty floors in the room suggesting for them to review the cleaning process for the floor cleaning. Manager stated to me after conferring with another Dept head that my stay would be totally on them. Well it is now 6-3-26 and that still has not compensated as she said. I have called back several times to the same Manager and was told it is being processed and would see my refund. ON 5-30 MANAGER SAID THE GENERAL MANAGER WOULD BE BACK ANDS WOULD CONTACT ME ON 6-1. THAT HAS NOT HAPPENED. My total stay cost me $365.08 and a wounded leg that is still healing. Let alone the fact of not enjoying the pool due to the leg, BE CAREFUL OF HOW YOU BOOK, WATCH THE BED FRAMES AS THEY STICKOUT PAST THE MATTRESS AND HOPEFULLY THE FLOOR ARE CLEAN. VERY DISPLEASED WITH MY EXPERIENCE AND WILL SHARE WITH THE MANY FRIENDS THAT I HAVE IN THE VILLAGES.

Not only is the property clean with a wonderful restaurant and comfy rooms the standout aspect of all these other wonderful things is the kindness and pure sweetness of everyone on staff. They are truly exceptionally warm, kind, caring people and we will return again and again as we have in the past. Special thank yous to Theodora, Jelena, Samantha, and Deb. Can't wait to return in September!

We loved this wonderful quaint hotel on a lake right on the boardwalk to the town square. Restaurant had wonderful food in the hotel and the servers were excellent.
