The Waterfront Inn

Hotel manager failed to return my call after calling twice about a full refund or credit towards a future stay. I was charged anyway and did not arrive due to my flight cancellation of maintenance issues.

I am just now checking out after a very disappointing 3 night stay. I was with a large family group having a celebration of life for my brother who recently passed away. Some of our people stayed one night and some three, but overall we booked 27 rooms. In addition we booked their event room and we had an open bar and dinner for 49 people. Considering as much money as our group you would think we would have been treated better. One evening desk clerk was pleasant and one of our bartenders at the event was very friendly. Everyone else was either rude or very rude, especially one older waiter in the restaurant. I understand taking care of a large group can be difficult, but you should be able to handle that if you are in the hospitality business. If you don’t like people, you should get a different job. Very very disappointing.

The room was terrible for anyone staying over more then a night. I did not want to live out of a suitcase for 2 weeks. Not a drawer to put anything in. The smallest ugliest night table that looked like someone took different pieces of wood and stuck it together

LOVED the lakefront view (wish I had been able to afford a balcony, it was spectacular). The room was comfortable, impeccably clean, updated, cozy, and had every necessity. It is wonderful being so close to the village "main street" shops and restaurants. We did wind up ordering room service one night and the food was amazing - thank you for a great stay!

The parking each evening was a nightmare, and Friday night was nearly impossible (because of all the guests for the music and happy hour, I am certain). But, hey, we did finally find a spot!

overall great location, great service and lots of eating and drinking options within short walk. did not use the pool or hot tub but it looked amazing.
