We had twin beds vey comfortable breakfast was nice cooked well, rooma was nice and airy and clean

Exceptionally clean, lovely morning staff serving breakfast, easy access and quiet at night even with its central location above a pub. We had a good sleep. Choice of cereal, toast and full English for breakfast. Full English was served quickly and a good size.

Rooms could do with modernising. Very basic facilities, shower was an old fashioned mixer fed from the bath taps. Evening reception staff were busy with the bar would have been nice to have someone dedicated to reception when we arrived. We were on the top floor, lots of stairs and no lift, we didn't see a lift.

Location was good and managed to get a parking space. I didn’t have breakfast so I cannot comment on that. Hotel was busy with cyclists (race the next two days) but didn’t keep me awake.

Friendly staff and good location.

There were spider webs in the room, no fridge, TV didn't have good reception so we couldn't watch. We couldn't connect the TV to the internet either, so we couldn't access our own video apps as an alternative. No iron in the room either.
