We've been coming to La Carihuela for the past 15+ years and stayed in many hotels, most are good and some excellent, this one is right up there for a family style, traditional look break, with impeccable service, very friendly and helpful staff team (thanks to Aline and her team), it's very clean and good sized rooms (air-conditioning and kettle included) with balcony and views. And the most lovely lady owner, who interacts with guests and she is such a character. Breakfast is great and the garden grounds are beautifully laid out. It has a decent sized pool with loungers. The hotel is 5 minutes walk to the beach and has bus stops both ways directly outside (we did a day trip to Malaga). We honestly couldn't fault our stay in any way. The website doesn't do it justice.
