Location and the staff are genuinely amazing. Super kind, very helpful, and honestly carrying the entire establishment on their backs.

Stayed at Palace Heights in Connaught Place and I’m convinced I didn’t book a hotel—I signed up for a live historical + audio experience. The walls are so thin, I could hear my neighbors clearer than court gossip in the time of Shah Jahan. One guy next door has been talking for a full hour straight—no breaks, no water, no respect for silence. At this rate, I’ll be fluent in Hindi by checkout. And the throat-clearing? Not once. Not twice. A full concert series throughout the day. Honestly feels like I’m attending rehearsals. Footsteps? Full dramatic marches. Felt like Aurangzeb was personally pacing around my room doing inspections. The room looks like it hasn’t been updated since Bahadur Shah Zafar was still writing poetry. Dust everywhere. Found a strand of hair that has clearly survived multiple empires—I left it untouched out of respect. The bathroom is where things get intense. The shower runs like Lord Curzon approving anything—slow, uncertain, and slightly disappointing. The drain is half blocked, so water just gathers around your feet while you question your life. Around the shower floor there’s that suspicious “vintage ring” that looks like it’s been slowly forming since the Mughal era.

All good. Great location, clean, friendly staff. Shweta was helpful at checkout with transport.

The hotel staff provided a great service. Restaurant was clean and food was delicious.

Eine gute Wahl in Neu Delhi. Unser Zimmer war ordentlich und sauber, wenn auch recht klein. Das Restaurant ist ziemlich gut, eine ruhige schöne Oase für den Rückzug. Frühstück war in Ordnung. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Es roch im Zimmer etwas muffig, was mit dem Nutzen der AC verflog.
