Hotel Casablanca

Location, breakfast and restaurants. Staff is very helpful.

Pool area and the guy that rents the golf carts. Carts were old and more expensive than what you can get half a block from the hotel.

Great hotel. The staff are attentive, considerate and kind. The food was great: flavorful and clean.

Excelente, friendly. I have to give a shout out to housekeeping. They would wait till we were at breakfast, cleaned the room before we returned everyday. Left the safe open a couple times with cash in open. Not smart on my part, but never an issue. Great place

We stayed in an ocean view room at Casablanca which offered a balcony. The hotel and room were generally fine - though on arrival the safe was missing from the room and we had to request it. There was quite a list of “rules” provided by the hotel which seemed a bit excessive and not a very friendly introduction, Our main gripe was that staff were often not very friendly - in particular, they made no effort to try and make adjustments for our limited Spanish and often seemed quite irritated that we didn’t understand them. We don’t expect everyone around the world to speak English - but there are ways to make things easier to understand and to help customers who are struggling. For example when we asked for drinks to be put in the minibar or laundry to be arranged, we were told that reception could not do this, and we had to call from our room - making the conversation that much harder. Although the pool area was fairly nice there were insufficient sunbeds in the shade. The pool rules forbade ball games and excessive noise but unfortunately this wasn’t enforced and this made things rather less relaxing than we would hope. On the plus side, breakfast was a decent offering and dinner in the Casablanca restaurant was excellent. Strangely, you can’t charge drinks at the bar or dinner at your restaurant to your room. On reflection, a hotel better for Spanish-speaking family groups and probably not one we would return to.

Excellent breakfast, good restaurants, comfortable bed and great location. For the price, rooms should include a coffee maker and free bottled water.
