The hotel is next to metro station, easy to access everywhere. There is a large shopping mall nearby with just 5 minutes walk. Lots of restaurant surrounding the hotel

Just a normal hotel. Nothing much surrounding this area. Quite bored.

It is so call 5 stars in Panyu, but when it comes to international rating/scores, it should be around 3.5 or 4 stars closest. Breakfast buffet is always soso, not very organized so many people are tight up having the meals together. This time I stayed at room 653, a standard room, but the bath room was flooded every time after shower. It's winter time with low temp outdoor, somehow they managed to shut down the entire A/C system, so there is just a noisy fan running after you turn your AC on in your room. Enough said for now. I would instantly jump to another hotel if there is a better one in Panyu.

Every year we stay here since it is a reasonable distance from our factory visits. Every year we have the same problem requesting non-smoking rooms and getting either smoking rooms or alleged non-smoking rooms that reek of smoke. Had to really battle this year fighting off excuses with "not-acceptable" as we are staying 6 nights for two rooms, we want true non-smoking rooms. Finally got on non-smoking floor, but one room still had some lingering smoke odors. Thermostat seemed not to work. Put up temperature, and gradually the numbers went up but the room got no warmer. Strange. Food in high end restaurant quite good. Service OK, spacious rooms, faster internet this year.
