Carolina Pine Inn

The breakfast was basic with pancakes, and other smaller items. The hotel is very nice looking from the outside and the rooms were clean and roomy. It had an older aesthetic to it which is what attracted me to the hotel.

The walls are thin and you can hear the front desk associates talking. I was in a room down the hall from the front desk. I kept the tv on just to drown out the noise. My main point for stopping was to rest and the hotel looked very nice and I wouldn't expect anything less than a restful stay. I woke up from hearing what I thought was people arguing right outside my window. The view shows apartments but it was from within the hotel. It went on for a little bit and I wasn't sure where it was coming from but when I went to the door to check it was within the hotel. I texted the front desk at 11:07 pm no one responded so I called and he told me he would check and they just got louder. I tried to download an app for noise and it still didn't help. I called back and he told me that he checked the cameras and didn't see anything so I walked to my door opened and let him hear. He could hear it from me standing there and he could still here the arguing even with the door closed. Finally he checked and texted me Ma'am we just requested to the guest next to you to quiet down we are sorry for any inconvenience, this was at 11:41 pm. I did hear the associate ask them to quiet down so the room was right down the hall next to the exit on the 1st floor. I couldn't sleep I went go back to sleep until after 2 am and then woke up very early and left the hotel. I found it ridiculous how long it took me to get them to help. I did request a refund and the hotel didn't respond to booking.com and then I received and $11 credit. I don't like how this was handled at all and I would not recommend staying here if you are looking to rest or sleep. I did see another review that there was noise and they could hear it in the room but didn't know it would be like this.

The room was very clean and well appointed. Decorated very nicely.

The breakfast was not good and the area to eat in was very dark. No tea or other drinks available.

The Carolina Pine Inn is very nice. Awesome Restaurant right across from the Lobby. On this trip we met a owner & his wife. Both very delightful people. It was a pleasure to have a conversation with them. We had an opportunity to walk the grounds & its so nice. Plenty of outdoor activities & a wonderful pool to use once warmer weather gets here. Definitely a hidden jem.

Very clean, comfortable bed, quiet. Very accommodating. Requested allergy free pillows and got them. Perfect.

Uncomfortable chair to sit and watch TV in the evening before bed.
