Natchez Grand Hotel On The River

Hair was in my tub and the water took a long time to drain out my tub…

Location was excellent

Breakfast was the only let down served Grits, burgers(sausage) and biscuits with gravy, it was served and not self help. Everything else was fine

Schönes gediegenes Hotel. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den Mississippi, haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war auch in Ordnung, wenn man nicht besonders anspruchsvoll ist. Die Lage ist toll, direkt an der Promenade über dem Fluss.

Der Service ist für ein Grand Hotel ausbaufähig. Die Zimmer wurden nicht rechtzeitig fertig, mehrere Gäste, wir auch, mussten bei der Anreise lange zeit im Eingangsbereich warten, über eine Stunde bis weit nach 17 Uhr. Es gab keine Info und in solch einem Hotel erwarte ich in so einer Situation ein GetränkeAngebot für die betroffenen Gäste. Leider kein guter Service.

The location was great.

The view had a tree so it isn't really "river" view. The bathroom door would bit close all the way.

The historic location and the ambience in the lobby and grounds made it ideal for visiting. The breakfast was delicious, and all the staff were very accommodating throughout our stay!

Two things… Housekeeping did not do a good job vacuuming our room or the halls in front of our room-scraps of paper and some hair strands were on our floor (214) and in the hall. The dust ruffle under the mattresses we’re very haphazard and not uniform as well. More attention to detail is needed by housekeeping. … the bathroom countertop was very wet and needed to be wiped down with a towel before we could even use it. The sink plug was broken and the faucet had a leak.
