It’s a great location and very friendly staff. The carpet could use to be replaced however. It’s pretty worn and outdated

Staff did great with check-in.Our problem came with Expedia had not sent our reservation to hotel with that being said I will never use Expedia again

We stayed here on July 4th during a special family vacation, hoping for a relaxing and memorable experience—but instead, we encountered one of the worst hotel stays we’ve ever had. We booked a Premium Suite with two queen beds at a premium price, expecting Hilton-level quality. What we got was filth, neglect, and discomfort. Our room was unacceptable from the moment we walked in. Both beds were visibly stained with what looked like blood or bodily fluids. Sheets had not been changed. The mattresses were sagging, didn’t fit the frames, and were extremely uncomfortable. The furniture was chipped, stained, and outdated. The thermostat was faulty—at times turning the room into a sauna, and at other times, an igloo. Mold was present in the bathroom. We even woke up with bite-sized welts on our legs, suggesting a pest infestation. The Keurig-style pods were expired or stale, and the drinks were undrinkable. We threw everything out. The lightbulbs were out, the lampshades stained, the toilet paper was cheap one-ply, and the entire suite appeared to have been rushed through by overworked cleaning staff. The “complimentary breakfast” was disappointing—low-quality ingredients, bland options, and little care. This was not the Hilton experience we expected. As a service-connected disabled U.S. Army Veteran, I was especially disappointed. This was our 4th of July family getaway—a time meant to celebrate freedom, family, and service. Instead, it turned into a frustrating, unsanitary, and exhausting ordeal. I requested to speak with a manager upon checkout, but none were available. I was told someone would follow up. No one ever did. One positive: a housekeeping staff member promptly came and respectfully changed the bedding after our initial complaint. She was the only part of this experience that resembled genuine hospitality. To my fellow service members, veterans, and military families: I strongly encourage you to avoid this location. There are better-run, cleaner, and more respectful hotels throughout the Omaha metro. This one has lost its standards—and its honor. We paid nearly $230 for a night in a so-called premium suite, but the only “premium” part was the disappointment. Embassy Suites and the "Hilton" brand used to be names we could trust. Not anymore.

Worst of all, management promised follow-up after we complained—yet we never heard back. One bright spot: a responsive housekeeping staff member quickly changed the sheets upon request. However, overall, this room was unacceptable at nearly $230 for a single night. Embassy Suites used to stand for something. Not anymore. I’d avoid this location entirely if visiting Omaha. This was supposed to be part of our July 4th family vacation—making memories, not dealing with mold, filth, and sleeplessness. For a Hilton-brand hotel, the experience was shameful. The whole stay felt like corporate greed over guest care. It's not worth the price or the stress.
