MainStay Suites Coralville - Iowa City

Polite, quiet, clean and comfortable.

The refrigerator in my room could have cleaned better. Also, staff neglected to let some people who were staying there that quietness is what travelers look for in an out-of-town stay. The staff seemed not to care at all. Overall, my stay was good.

Everything was fine. Breakfast was good. It would be good to clean the hallway carpet by the second floor elevator. Price was very reasonable.

Hotel was adequate, but was off the beaten path.

On the way from Colorado to Michigan, I stopped here for the night. Traveling alone with my dog, I wanted a safe place that was pet friendly and this fit the bill. Staff was helpful, place was good.

The hotel was great and good location. However the triple rate charge just because there was a local football game was ridiculous!!!

Dining options had a lot of variety

Our room had loose door handles, noisy appliances, old TVs, cracked or broken bathroom tiles, stains and uncovered patchwork on the walls, a corroded shower head, lumpy bed, creaky bed frame, and we also had those Asian beetles showing up in the bathroom from behind the light fixture all week. The shared washers and dryers were pretty dirty.
