The quality of the room exceeded the price we paid. I am used to being disappointed with motels. This did not disappoint. Well above average and I think will be our go to in Wellington from now on.

Bottle opener/cutlery in the room.

Absolutely love this hotel, excellent location and great amenities! Outstanding buffet breakfast this morning too.

Not quite as “sound proof” as you’d expect. Could still hear everything outside (windows closed) as well as in the corridor.

Loved the location and the eclectic decor. The staff were friendly and helpful. Loved our upgrade to a room on a higher floor.

Would have liked a coat hook or two to hang our coats.

The room was spacious with a couch (love seat?) and two chairs. The bed was extremely comfortable; probably one of the best I've experienced at a hotel. I always like it when a room has a Nespresso-like machine! We also loved the artistic vibe of the hotel and the room.

It's not a dealbreaker but the bathroom (and shower) are quite small, and there's really no way to prevent the shower from leaking when used.
