Carrygerry Country House

Nice staff, interesting old estate in a quiet countryside setting but still very close to the airport.

Our dinner reservation was delayed b/c of a large private afternoon event that apparently ran later than planned. When we presented for our 6:00 reservation, we were told the table wasn't ready and were invited to sit in the bar area and purchase a drink while waiting. This was a lovely setting but we had expressly requested the earliest available dinner reservation b/c we had an early flight the next morning . After 30 or 40 min in the bar area, the staff took our orders in advance, which was thoughtful of them. We were finally seated around 7:00pm, enjoyed our dinner and left the restaurant at 8:30pm. The food was good and all was well, it was just a delay we had not anticipated.

Food was a bit disappointing

This is my third time staying at Carrygerry. The owner and her team are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is delicious and the beds are very comfortable. Will be back again soon. The location is very handy too.

Very friendly staff, always a pleasure to come back to Carrygerry. The view is perfect, for being located so close to the airport and Shannon town- you still get the country side
