Hotel Clarks Varanasi Limited

Really quite an old-fashioned style hotel, but comfortable enough. Staff attentive and helpful, other than in the restaurants. The room was OK, although I would have preferred an updated with better power supply for changing multiple electronics.

This hotel is much better suited to group rather than individual visits as every day there were new groups who always seemed to be prioritized. The restaurant was never a pleasant experience, either because of the large group numbers when food became quickly unavailable, the staff seemingly unwilling to replenish and many other guests who disrespected my wife's disability and made it difficult for her to visit the servery in her wheelchair. Personally, I really don't think instant coffee should be the only choice in a hotel.

Great location and excellent staff.

It is one of the oldest property in Varanasi. However rooms and furniture does not seem to have been renovated to modern times. Also rooms are not very spacious.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Clark’s. The hotel has an old world charm. The staff is very efficient and pleasant. My room was spacious but I did not care for the two single beds - I felt as if II was going to fall off the bed! That was not what I had booked. The hotel has an excellent breakfast buffet and on several days breakfast was served in two different restaurants. There was live Indian classical music in one of the Restaurants. The area around the Hotel is good with a mall next door.

This hotel had old world charm which me and my husband loves. The layout is good and rooms are massive. they surprised us with chocolate pastries and cookies. this gesture was very good.

The service at breakfast is very inefficient. if we order some thing it takes too long to come. I can understand if the restaurant was full but that was not the case here. the staff is too lethargic.

An oasis of calm in a very busy city. Staff is truly exceptional, especially the luggage handlers and dining room staff Anlipam and Sunil Yoseu. If you like colonial-era feeling hotels with the gentle charm of bygone years, then you should consider Clark’s Varanasi. We’re extremely happy we did.
