"Perfect, except for that TV thing (again)"

You know what you're getting with a HIEx, this didn't disappoint

The weirdest feature, which seems to occur at almost every HIEx, is that the TV (Samsung) has BBC 1 HD (Channel 101) but it has no sound! So you have to watch BBC1 in lo res, or hope it's showing a silent movie. All other channels are fine. Why does this keep happening? Only ever BBC 1 HD, only ever Samsung TVs, almost always at Holiday Inn Expresses?

"Nice but basic hotel"

The location was good for me attending an event in the town centre. The rooms were clean but basic. reception staff were fine only dealt with them briefly. Free parking is excellent. Very reasonably priced.

An exceptionally hot week and there was no air-conditioning working when you tried to get it to work it was very loud. But then I realised it wasn’t even giving out any cold air.
