Front desk staff was great. Restaurants close by was a plus

Suites are homely, could use a sponge for dishes and maybe some cups in the bathroom to use for brushing teeth ect. Overall great stay

Excellent and safe location convenient half way point for travel from Las Vegas to Seattle.

Rally nice hotel. The staff was great and helpful when asked. The room was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Really liked the room. The outstanding thing was the breakfast. There were so many choices. The choices were great, and some were unusual. If we are ever in the Boise area we would stay here again.

It was easy to check in. The room was clean and as expected. The staff was friendly and polite. The location is a desirable area and not too noisy.

Spacious unit. Wonderful beds, small vanity area and sink with low height. Breakfast was mediocre but staff was excellent.

We stayed on 1st floor (very noisy) next time will be 3rd floor. Continental Breakfast good

Guests should beware!!! I recently stayed at the TownPlace Suites Marriott Meridian in Boise with my two adult children and another adult. One week after arriving home I realized the hotel had charged my credit card an additional $250.  When I enquired with the hotel they stated there had been drugs left in the room and they had to call police. I was shocked. This allegation is completely untrue. When I called the hotel, the manager could not give me any details about where the substance was found in the room and by who, or how much. Seems suspicious that she was unaware of those details that were apparently important enough to keep a deposit and to call the police.  I then called the customer service at 1-800-535-4028 and spoke to a representative , receiving a file number and assurance that within 5-7 days the hotel manager would reach out to me with a resolution. The manager , Lindsay G, emailed me a week later with a copy of the police report and no further conversation on why she charged me, or further information. The police report stated no additional detail about the substance being found other than it was found around 1pm (we checked out before 8am). As a loyal customer of Marriott I am appalled that I have been treated this way. This hotel stop was one on a long road trip from Las Vegas back to Vancouver Canada. We checked in late and left early. These drugs may have been left by a previous guest and the room not cleaned properly. These drugs may have been brought into the room after we checked out before 8am, and before it was cleaned at noon. All I can say is our group of four women did not bring drugs in the room. The fee they are charging me is a “Smoke Free Environment” charge, which the hotels own terms state it will be charged if there is evidence of smoking to “cover the extensive cost of resolving guest rooms to a smoke-free condition”. I could not get an answer from the manager as to what evidence of smoking in the room there was (smell, actual smoke) to cause damage of $250. This situation to me smells like a scam! The lack of communication from both the TownPlace Suites Marriott Meridian in Boise, and Marriott head office is unacceptable. There is no proof the drugs were ours, and no one contacted us when the drugs were discovered. The only way I discovered all this was through the charge on my credit card. I have no idea what the $250 was used for, but I would like an immediate reimbursement to my credit card.  With all the hotel choices you have I would consider another chain. Beware!
