"Very happy to have recovered left behind item"

We stayed here for 2 nights over a weekend. The room was clean, the location was very quiet and the breakfast is comparable to other Hampton Inns except having only 1 waffle maker created a backup during busy times. What prompted me to write the review is that my husband left his shirt in the room and he managed to get it back. He didn't figure out he had left it until a week after checkout, after we traveled elsewhere in Colorado. I contacted the hotel and they were able to locate it and we picked it up when we were back in town. They have a very organized interface that allowed me to select having the item shipped to me vs. pickup or other options. What amazed me is that they were organized enough to keep track of what room it came from and to save it for a week. I just imagined a pile of clothes and other items designated for Goodwill after a month. We are very happy to have gotten the shirt back and consider this experience to reflect favorably on the Hampton Inn brand.
