The property was nice with a good layout near the ocean. We could walk around which was nice given we had our dog with us.

The room had an exceptionally strong smell of cleaning chemicals. It was overwhelming.

Could you please have just regular cremo for coffee i am allergic to all flavoured creams. Suxked I had to leave resort for coffee in the morning

The staff were friendly and the location was beautiful. The property and the room were quite run down. We couldn't use the outdoor hot tub because the lock was broken. There were many things that didn't work in the room and the last morning we woke up there was no running water in the room.

I have stayed at Pacific Shores many times over the years and felt it was really worth the price. The staff was helpful, although some units are older they were comfortable and clean. The property is typically amazing with a great location.

This past stay was unexpected. I waited hours for Highway 4 to open due to a fatal accident, and finally, after 5 hours, I decided to book with Pacific Shores to try and get some sleep since it didn't look like I was going to make it home due to the highway closure. The room was outdated, which is fine except I hadn't planned on being away from home more than a few hours and I only had my charger cord for my cell and there were no options to plug that in in the room. The carpet had a bad odor, and the bed was very squeaky. Then, at 10pm, the power went out, and I couldn't find a flashlight. I was on the third floor and felt uncomfortable. Highway 4 finally opened, and at 11pm, I decided to leave as I didn't want to stay in a hotel room without power. My phone was only at 1%, and if I drove, I could charge it with the cord I brought. I went to the main desk to ask for even a partial refund, but the reception was not helpful and not friendly. I felt ignored by the resort. I know it is not the fault of the Resort that the highway was closed, that I had limited resources with me for more than a few hours away from home and that there was a power outage. The overall issue was the lack of support and communication, and I did not feel I was provided with any customer service or even human compassion for the situation. This stay cost me about $250 for a shower in an old tub and to watch part of an old movie on a squeaky bed in a smelly room until the power went out.

The location is a bit out of town but well worth it as the views are wonderful, and the private beach is stunning! great for people and furries! quiet, peaceful and tranquil. And very comfy beds!!!

Clean modern rooms, Beautiful grounds! Well manicured, so many amenities! I enjoyed the swimming pool, Sauna, great hot tub outdoors! Took advantage of the spa and had a fantastic massage! Gorgeous views from the Gazebo. Relaxed and enjoyed the ocean! Fantastic property.
