Travelodge Suites by Wyndham Lake Okeechobee

Clean rooms , good customer service. Front Desk was friendly and very helpful. Stayed there for 1 night, The rooms are big and have kitchenette. Good for family , very comparable with high end extended stay hotels but at much cheaper price.

It was convenient, but what happened there was unacceptable.

⚠️ WARNING: New Management as of July 2025 I stayed at this motel recently and was very disappointed to discover troubling behavior by management. After I left a tip for the cleaning staff in my room, it was taken—before housekeeping ever entered. The only person who entered the room during that time was the front desk manager. It appears the manager is helping himself to tips meant for the cleaning crew by entering rooms first after guests check out. If you choose to stay here, I strongly recommend handing your tip directly to the cleaning staff. Otherwise, they may never receive it. It’s a shameful way to treat hardworking employees. Management theft is unacceptable.

I had the pleasure of staying here last year and I was happy to do the same this year. My mom is very ill, so during my stay, I needed to bring her to the hotel with me while my dad took care of daily errands, and the manager was very understanding. Besides the miscommunication in regards to how many towels the housekeeper could provide us with at one given time, my whole experince was a breeze. I will definitely stay here again, if I get another opportunity to do so. Great job guys!

I can’t recommend this place for a stay, the area overall was too sketchy we had to check out early and find a different place

This place is a great place to stay. Very quiet and check in and check out are a breeze. Will stay here again being that I had a great time.

There was 1 roach in the room upon arrival. No hot water. Aside from that it was good.

Room is very large and had a full kitchenette. Easy parking a plus!

They need to clean the floor and the bathroom better and the smell too bad the room
