Cottage Grove Inn

Second visit for me, albeit separated by 13 years. First visit for my GF. We both loved it. The privacy, service & proximity to CA wine country.... What could be better? This couple from NY gives Cottage Grove Inn 5🎖 & 2👍(s) up.

Everyone was very nice and the room was so clean and cozy! We had a great time!

The trees gave great shade to the entire property. It was like having our own cottage and we could walk to town from here. Fantastic breakfast the next morning. Air Conditioning was great as it was a hot summer day. Would stay again.

I loved the privacy and quite of this property. Although it was in the street with other properties it felt like we were in a different part of the city. I highly recommend this property to couples trying to re-spark their flame!

Beyond perfect experience! We ran late with our arrival, and the staff saved happy hour for us! This is a Calistoga gem, romantic hideaway, personal Retreat, girls getaway weekend, wedding party place to stay! We will be back!!!

The property was beautiful and well-kept, very quiet at night. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, very comfortable bed, well-maintained. Complementary split of champagne and cheese plate. Only negatives: 1) air conditioner grill rattled whenever the cooling function turned on; 2) we requested feather-free pillows and bedding due to severe feather allergies and they readily accommodated us but we discovered that they had neglected to remove decorative bed pillows which contained feathers. The manager was mortified when we reported it and immediately removed them himself.

Loved our time there. Bed was comfortable and we liked that it was only a short walk to downtown Calistoga. Staff are very friendly. Especially liked our cheese and wine time late afternoon. Highly recommend.

It's truly a grove. The shade is incredible. Also, it's such a nice, quiet getaway. The garden and fountain make it awesome, and the cottages are roomy and nice.

Friend’s wedding weekend during BottleRock... very lucky to find such a gem. Loved the staff and service; cottage lay-out was lovely; King bed was very comfortable; offer of the roll-away was key; bathroom was spacious and well-appointed! My only two small issues were with the AC and the breakfast... AC had a lawnmower quality, but I suppose doubles as a ‘white noise’ machine for those who like that ;-) Fruit, granola, coffee cake, and espresso machine & coffee were all terrific for an ‘included breakfast’; for $450/night the microwaved breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich were forgettable... again, “small potatoes.” Definitely worth coming back to!

Each cottage was situated under a sweet canopy of trees, with the fronts facing away from an unnoticeable main street. Cottage was well kept and maintained. The breckfast provided was above and beyond expectations. Many choices, from breakfast burritos, to quiche, coffeecake, granola yogurt, fruit.... fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive. Will return!!!
