"Excellent Wedding Venue"

We selected Trim Castle as our Wedding Venue and it proved a choice we were very glad we made . Nothing was too much trouble for staff , for example we requested certain drinks not usually stocked in the bar be made available to our guests and this was done . there was transparency regarding costs and no ' balls out of left field ' came our way . Service on the day was excellent and everything was done with minimal fuss . Trim Castle Hotel has a very good reputation as a wedding venue and that is no surprise. Given its popularity as a venue it would be easy to think its something of a ' wedding factory ' but its popularity notwithstanding we were made to feel special and at no point did we ever perceive we were viewed as '' just another wedding ''. Special thanks to our wedding co-ordinator Shauna and Duty Manager Richard who worked so hard to ensure we ( and all our guests ) had a memorable day. Feedback from guests on things like rooms , decor , food , service , etc entirely positive .

"Grand retro hotel in a great location"

The Trim Castle Hotel is in a lovely village with a great walking trail of historic ruins and half a dozen pubs. The hotel lobby feels 50:years old in the best way possible. It is casually elegant, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The room was large and very comfortable, and the breakfast was full of very good options. Trim is a great choice for a base camp between Dublin and Belfast if you want to visit the nearby Neolithic ruins of Newgrange and Knowth as well as some castles, hiking trails, etc., and the Trim Castle Hotel is a great place to stay when in the area.

"Comfortable Stay"

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful town. The perfect location to explore Trim and the Boyne Valley. Our castle-view room was lovely, however, very noisy into the early hours with a wedding on directly below us! Great breakfast, free parking, efficient staff and service
