Wonderful hotel and room with a true ambient feeling of a bygone age. More than satisfied with the comfort, service and food on offer. Was just a little intrigued by the group of guests whose presence on my final day blocked the hotel & prevented me eating and staying at the hotel. An astonishing riff-raff that would hardly constitute the type of guest this elevated grade of hotel would normally expect to host. But otherwise - superb !

Check-in easy. Staff very courteous and helpful. Good location albeit difficult to reach.. Spacious room. Bad food. Too many kids running up and down the hall and screaming all day--a family hotel. Not such a great value for the money.
