Great place!

Fantastic stay; the building might look dated but the restaurant, bar, staff, and location were fantastic - Swim in the Irish sea!

Very dated room. Bathroom was stained. Mould on the wall behind the curtains. Windows didn’t close properly. Looks like the property is being renovated, but even the newer areas had water damage on the walls. The staff were pleasant and friendly. Didn’t check out the bar or restaurant but there is a lovely Thai takeaway next door.

Nice one night stay at the White Sands, looks a little tired from the outside but rooms and bar area really nice. Unfortunately the welcome was not very warm, we did arrive early so thought we would see if the rooms were ready, but the receptionist looked at us as if we had committed some atrocity. All staff we encountered later were very warm and friendly, but first impressions matter.

Arts were updated, others run down. Mattresses were lumpy and uncomfortable.
