"Great Location and Staff!"

8.0

Liked this Inn! The Staff were kind, helpful and accommodating, such as turning on the Fireplace and heaters in the dining area, letting us hang out there with our snacks and wines in the evenings. They brought us wine glasses, plates and cutlery to use while we enjoyed the covered patio. Prompt, friendly service if there was a question or need. Our room was clean and large. It had been updated with sold floors, bedding, decor ceiling fan. We enjoyed the electric stove on chilly mornings. We used the small kitchen area to store our food and drinks in the fridge. My husband used the microwave to heat water for his tea in the room. Microwave was pretty ancient but worked for that OK. There was a bistro table and chairs on porch in front of room, but we didn’t wind up sitting there but good to have. The Bathroom was clean but could use a revamp. It was very large, but only one pedestal sink and a small cabinet for storage. It really needs more counterspace especially for two people. The shower had been recaulked a few times so it looked grungy, and the jacuzzi tub took up the majority of space. Would be nice to rip those both out and make a nicer shower and counter area. Location was perfect! We could walk easily to downtown Calistoga and restaurants, grocery store. We did not try the pool area or hot tub as it was raining, but it looked very nice and tidy. We would stay here again!

"Couples wine tasting getaway"

10.0

Nested on a quiet street next to Calistoga's main street. An easy walk to everything. We dined, tasted wine and shopped in downtown Calistoga. The Calistoga shuttle picked us up in front of the Inn ( you call in advance) and took us to the wineries we had chosen to taste at, that day. After dinner we relaxed in the onsite jacuzzi. It was a stress free mini vacation, the best kind. The staff was very kind and helpful. The property was clean and well maintained.

"Would stay again and recommend."

10.0

Lovely little inn! Our room was very clean and exactly as pictured. Although it was cold outside, the room heated up quickly and stayed warm the entire time. There was a heater unit as well as a fake fireplace if desired. Even in dead of winter, the pool was surprisingly warm and actually felt nicer in the water than outside (ask the front desk for towels and robes). Breakfast was very nice: on the weekend there was a vegetarian tart, potatoes, breads and muffins, hard-boiled eggs, granola, yogurt, fruit, and more. On weekday there was same items expect hot ones. Hot tea and coffee were available all day (or at least every time I stopped by!), and there were cookies in the afternoon. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the inn is an easy two-block or so walk to downtown. While the neighboring property didn’t look great when drove by, don’t let that worry you, once inside the inn property, everything is very well kept and it felt safe, comfortable, and welcoming for our family.
