Hotel Accademia

Lovely hotel, very close to the beach and an easy bus ride into the old town. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was truly excellent - beautifully presented and a delicious choice of home baked cakes and pastries.

The hotel is close to the beach and a 20 minute walk into the centre of Rimini and is well appointed. The rooms are tastefully furnished, if not a bit small for a fatty like me, and the shower, tv, fridge, excellent. The most amazing aspect of the hotel are the staff; I have never been treated more courteously, offered more help and been addressed in such a friendly manner - by everyone - not just the exceptional front of house team. Everyone was genuinely warm, considerate and charming - it felt like going home. If only every hotel was like this. The breakfast was the best I have eaten anywhere in the world, and the food was of a very high quality, fresh and home-made. The staff in the dining room too could not do enough for you - offering to make something special if you couldn't find anything you liked!

It was my first time in Italy and I would say this hotel is better than all the rest. From the breakfast every morning to the wonderful staff. I wouldn't have chose another hotel.! So close to the sea and wonderful accomodations.

We stayed in Rimini at Hotel Academia for one night on our way from Venice to Rome. This is a really nice hotel within walking distance to the beach. The staff are genuinely nice, very helpful and eager to please. Within walking distance to nice restaurants.

Really nice hotel. It is really well maintained and the staff as amazing. At every point in our stay they were welcoming and friendly. No request was ever too much and even an initial problem with our room not being ready was handled well. As a final bonus, they were more than happy to put on an early breakfast for us due to an early check out meaning we would miss the normal breakfast hours. However, the hotel is a little out of the way from the main part of Rimini, which is about a 15-20 minute walk away so something to bear in mind. There is a beach 30 seconds away though, just up the road, and the local area is a small resort in itself.

Dropped in for a couple of days sunshine at the end of Sep, the hotel staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. The room was fine enough, most seemed to have an individual balcony. Buffet breakfast ran through until 12 with homemade cakes a highlight. Local beach 2 mins from the front door, Rimini beach is 30 min walk or a regular bus.

Lovely hotel, very clean and modern, with very helpful staff. Our room was very smart. Breakfast was excellent, with superb attention to detail. Hotel is about 100m from the sea, in a fairly built up area and quite a long walk from the old centre of Rimini.

Hotel staff very nice and helpful. Not the best of locations, close to the beach but away from downtown Rimini. Beds ok. Free parking and breakfast included, good for the price!

Staff are amazing, customer service levels are beyond anything I've had before. The rooms are clean, and well equipped and if you pay for the upgrades then even better but I put them down to 4 out of 5 because they were a slightly bit small, shower was amazing though. Maid service brilliant, the lady never got in the way and was quick and efficient, clean towels and all the sizes. Beach towels available everyday as well. Breakfast was fantastic, a great choice and I'm sure if you wanted something else they would try everything in their power to get it. The whole week was fantastic because the location was great as well, close to the fantastic beach, away from the main town so no noise but close enough to excess all the amenities. We had an early flight home and had to leave early before breakfast started but they made up a table of a small breakfast for us before we departed. Brilliant.

My wife and I were in Rimini for 3 nights on our way to Croatia. We loved the Hotel Accademia. It's steps from the beach in the Rivabella section of Rimini, so you're a bicycle ride to the main bustly waterfront touristy area and old town (more on the bikes later). The staff couldn't have been more warm and welcoming. We had a lot of fun working on our Italian vocabulary together! They gave us phenomenal dinner recommendations and helped make our stay a great one. Bikes are free to borrow - so take one and visit the old town and sit on a piazza or see the sights. We also used the bikes to visit the crazier touristy drag and hit some clubs. Closer to home there is a main street along the water full of shops and restaurants where the families walk in the evenings. Overall a great experience.
