Pros: Beautiful property, beach, and location. Great facilities. Cons: Service, Internet spotty at best, timeliness of services. Mandatory event fees. The Kenilworth beach resort is a beautifully appointed 5 star resort that has a tranquil, elegant layout that makes guests feel relaxed. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the facilities and amenities are befitting a 5 star resort. Having said that, this resort is unfortunately also marred with some issues that at its core should not be the case with a resort. Namely, the level of service received from management and staff does not meet the mark. * Internet (wireless and wired) for the most part does not work in the rooms, and when it does, is slow. Called the front desk about it. Never heard back. Happened all 3 nights. * Poolside restaurant was very slow. took 1+ hour for snacks order * Took 3 hours to deliver iron and ironing table to room * Staff does not attempt to recognize guests, was asked for my room number twice in a 2 minute span by the same associate. * BEWARE: be careful when booking this resort online through a travel site. They will tack on an event fee at check-in if your stay coincides with their resort events. This fee is MANDATORY and is close to DOUBLE THE PRICE of your room. Watch the fine print of your travel site for this.

Apart from taxi charges, which is expensive. Everything else was very good.

"We have been to Goa several times, but this was our first holiday in Goa with our little one and we wanted to make it special for her. The minimum criteria for selecting our hotel was access to beach, swimming pool, and away from the crowded areas. While meeting the bare minimum criteria, it also exceeded our expectations on service and it had all sorts of things for toddlers. I feel our stay was very short, but that is how I feel every time I visit Goa, and Kenilworth only added to the feeling. Now, about the property.. As advertised, it has all the amenities. The pool and sunken bar are great. There are attendants at the pool to help you with towels and other swimming accessories and we just loved being there. We got complimentary daily breakfast which had nice Continental and Indian spread. While we mostly stuck to room service, we did try out one of the dinner packages called 'Fish Market' or something.. For 2,800 per person, it was great. Unlimited seafood that you can select and specify the style of cooking, unlimited drinks and a buffet. And not to forget the band.. The property is big and nicely landscaped. It has direct access to the beach. The beach wasn't crowded and had a number of shacks. The property also had stuff to keep children engaged - movies, play area, swimming classes among other stuff. In my opinion, it doesn't matter if you are travelling alone, with friends or with family, you will be at peace and can do your own stuff."

Stayed with a friend for 3 nights end Oct beginning Nov 2014 during a 6 week trip around India. The position of this resort is brillant. Right on the beach. The Arabian sea is so clear and warm. The beach itself is great to walk along. The resort has a series of clean well set out pools with lounges, umbrellas, towels and a swim up bar. Renovations were being done to a restaurant and bar while we were there but the buffet breakfast outside on a large deck was very nice catering for all needs. We did not eat dinner there. We had a lovely large room with a balcony overlooking a unused large deck that needed repairing and the grounds. The first room that we were issued was on the ground floor with no external area and a interconnecting door to the next room from which we could hear everything that was said and done! We were shifted up to the other room after stating we were not staying in that room. The hotel has a beautiful entrance way with fountains and I found the staff overall very pleasant especially the young pool attendent Anil. The resort was very busy when we were there especially with Indian Families.

Well placed for the beach; was easy to reach from the airport.

Fantastic hotel with the beach a stone's throw away. The hotel property was amazing and so were the staff. Had requested for a room change and that was done at the earliest. Will definitely come back to the hotel.

The hotel property is huge and beautiful. It expanses into beautiful gardens and the pool side. The hotel staff is extremely hospitable and friendly. The food is superb (though I'm a vegetarian!). A must visit when in South Goa.

If you want a nice clean hotel with friendly staff then Kemilworth Resort is the place to go. Well maintained garden with a good swimming pool and a private beach what more can you ask for. We went in August so it was quite except for a few conferences taking place and not much activity on the beach
