Riad Palais Calipau

It was spotlessly clean and rooms were rustic but comfortable. It is 100% authentic. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We received a very warm welcome. The location is ideal, just a short walk through the medina. It is peacefully quiet throughout the day and night. The breakfast was tasty and there was plenty of choice in a traditional Moroccan breakfast.

We have no complaints , this is an alcohol free riad but there is another riad with a lovely rooftop bar and restaurant just around the corner.

I can not express enough what an amazing Riad this is. It’s even more beautiful than the photos- so tasteful with the perfect tile, wood, off white walls just stunning. Delicious breakfast. But what I really want to talk about is the staff- they were so incredibly helpful to us in a crisis situation. We arrived in Morocco and weren’t able to withdraw cash because our Capital One debit cards were Discover and that’s not accepted in Morocco- who knew?! So here we are after a red eye flight, exhausted after hours in the airport trying to get cash without any luck and we are feeling so heartbroken and nervous to be stranded in Morocco with no money. This incredible hotel not only provided us a peaceful environment to figure this all out, but also gave us so much emotional support and serious problem solving tips- including the suggestion to use Moneygram- which worked! I was pregnant on this trip and such a weeping mess and everyone was so so nice to be especially Mouna (I think this is her name, she is lovely young woman with short dark hair who welcomed us, she needs so much credit for helping us so much like beyond what we would except from a hotel reception). Anyways, not only is this place an absolutely gorgeous oasis, but the service here is truly BEYOND amazing. Thank you for being so wonderful and we will come back again and without a doubt stay here! I couldn’t get enough photos of the gorgeous rooms!

De rust die je er kon vinden naast de drukke stad. Het personeel was enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Propere kamers. In het algemeen een erg schone riad. Er werd ook rekening gehouden met glutenvrije ontbijt opties.

Op een avond hebben we een kiptajine besteld in de riad aangezien we een drukke dag hadden waarin we veel bezocht hadden wouden we niet meer op restaurant. Helaas heeft deze tajine ervoor gezorgd dat we beide ziek zijn geworden en de helft van ons verblijf in de kamer hebben moeten doorbrengen en in het ziekenhuis.

Établissement parfait , très bien placé dans la médina, services et personnels très agréable. Je recommande vivement. Séjour en famille adapté .

Las instalaciones son preciosas y está muy limpio. Además, el personal es súper amable y servicial. Por último, destacar la repostería variada del desayuno que estaba toda deliciosa.

El colchón era bastante blando pero pudimos descansar 😴

Nous avions 1 chambre au rez-de-chaussée de chaussée à fuir, très bruyant, aucune intimité, on entend la sonnette toute la nuit.

Das personal ist sehr freundlich und zuverlässig, begleitet auch einen zum Taxi oder Fahrer um auch wirklich zu seinem ziel zukommen. Die Lage ist perfekt, ruhig am Abend aber dennoch nicht zu weit von der Innenstadt. Empfehle die „La Pergola Rooftop Jazz Bar für den Abend“

War einwenig irritierend alles in Marokkanische Dirham zu zahlen und im Hotel Aktivitäten und co. in euro zu sehen hat manchmal zu Irritationen geführt.
